The Region III Boys' Soccer Tournament featured Spring Woods, Lamar, Clear Lake and Katy. In the March 30 finals, Clear Lake
scored a 1-0 victory to advance to state over Katy. Clear Lake will play Coppell April 5 at 5:30 p.m. in Georgetown in semi
#1 while unbeaten SA Reagan takes on perennial power Klein at 7:30 p.m. The boys' Class 5A final will be played Saturday
at 1 p.m. after the girls' 5A title game.

The Kingwood girls controlled the field March 30 to earn a 3-0 win over a talented Cinco Ranch squad for the Region III championship
at Deer Park's Clyde Abshier Stadium. Kingwood opens the Class 5A State Soccer Tournament April 4 against Coppell. The girls'
title game will be played April 6 at 11 a.m. in Georgetown.

Playoff action photos from Region III-Class 5A, including Cinco Ranch girls. March 26, the Cougars downed Lamar 4-0, and March
29 they beat a talented Deer Park squad 3-2 in the regional semifinals. They face Kingwood Saturday for a chance to advance
to the State tournament.
